Pinnacle Dragons met with success at the Western Region Regatta, held in Bathurst and for one member competing in a composite team at the Pan Pacific Games on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Pinnacle Dragons combined with Lithgow's Flash Dragons competing at the western region regatta, for a team that haven't trained together they turned in a very credible performance bringing home some bling.
The younger members competing as a much depleted James Sheehan High School team, most competing in their first regatta had a ball, just missed out on the medals. With most of the team having been training only a few weeks they did exceptionally well.
In meantime, one member missed all the action on the local scene to sweep for a composite team competing at the Pan Pacific Games. Exciting 3 days of competing against teams from New Zealand, Singapore, Canada and Australia - and bringing home silver
