One of our younger members, after many months of hard training even through the cold winter has successfully completed phase 2 of the selection process to gain a place in the Australian Junior dragon boat team (Auroras) heading to Thailand for the World Championships next August.
Isaac has trained consistently over the last 15 months with both Pinnacle Dragons and with his school team - James Sheahan High Catholic School, Orange, he has undertaken 2 grueling selection sessions, the last being in Queensland when he was competing with 93 other young people all seeking a place on a team of 40 juniors.
The support and commitment of Isaac's family has been a major contributor to Isaac's success - but now the training continues in earnest.
